Scott
Junno mate I'd love to tip 8/1 shots but in all reality there that price for a reason and the bookies don't like giving away money tbh OR there running in ultra competitive handicaps which is never good when your tipping horses.
The thing is m8..like I proved last night... Most of my selections didn't have a price last night but I knew once the early prices came out and mine were nearly all favourites I had read the form correctly mate.
This is my thinking on betting.I would rather have 3 'even money' horses picked from races were there are not many dangers to beat them. 3 even money winners in a treble equates to an 8/1 treble.with a bit of drift in the betting you could do these in an each way treble to return almost ALL of your stake should they place but not win.
In reality these will stand a better chance 'by far' to win you money than a single on an 8/1 shot mate...obviously its 3 races...the risk greater the more selections in any combination bet.
I stay clear of ANY RACE where there is more than 3 who can win and if there's 3 or less I'll perm them with 2 in a race.
Everyone likes to think they can pick the winner in a race AND the bookies entice you in with the bigger prices...its very tempting to to use your skills to try and find the winner when in all reality you won't...FACT!
It took me an age to realise I COULDNT and once you except it and choose selections who have a realistic chance to win with the least amount of apossable opposition.
Back in the races the bookies don't want yeh too mate...try and stay clear of big field handicaps..be brutal on your own abilities and if there's more than 2 dangers move onto the next race unless you perm it.
The most important thing is go through your most likely winning bets and discard any that could loose...do it over and over until your happy...then as long as my prices add up to 4/1...I.e 4 even monies I ALWAYS go each way protect your stake to go again the next day should they place but not win.
I don't profess to know it all by any stretch of the imagination my mate and picking winners is more about picking the RIGHT RACES to bet..in tbh
Once you give yourself a realistic chance to win with a safety firat each way bet...you will be flying my friend
Good luck dude and any questions just ask and I'll help yeh as much as I can buddy

Any time punter dude...my mate got the same a 4 fold and he did a win 7 gold with 2 non runners
He only staked £9 and win £250 plus mate...unfortunately I think he's addicted now lol and asks me for tips every day... but he's scooped close to £700 quid in a week and with him being a chef he's making more on my tips than his normal job lol
Let's ride it whilst the going good...tough day tomorrow... Lots of meetings but all very even so it might take a bit if sorting to win..on the face of it I'm thinking interest bets but we will see.

i beg to differ kerching you have proved you CAN win every race, on the 10 fold there wasnt one that lost!! lol this is what opened my eyes to the way you place your bets and it all makes sence!! i dont know why i didnt look at it this way!! I would be over the moon to win £50 a day, but i always was tempted into the £3k accas, which none have all come in!! Short prices always make me turn away and didnt realise that 3 would turn into 8/1 ... but those 3 favs if the form is correct will have more chance in winning then the 1 horse.... i usually bet e/w aswell bit of a fall back. But i think im going to learn great things from you, long may this go on, i already learned the method to win so thanks mate!! I f i ever see yah the first drinks on me!!!

Scotty
Its been a real learning curve for me over the last 4 or 5 years cos I think horse racing tips are burdened with testosterone lol. Everyone wants to be the best tipster and loves giving big priced winners to there friends. But in reality how often do they realistically happen...from personnel experience there 1 in 10 or 15 races. I realised YES I can give a fancy in a big field handicap using the same formula on form ect...but is there MORE chance of loosing than winning and the answer was definitely YES.
So I changed tact and my outlook and thought can I pick horses who DEFINATELY HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN...I practised and practised on finding the right type of races to bet in...tried to find races where there are no more than 1 or 2 at the most who can beat my selection with all things being equal.
I always go each way mate.as long as I'm getting all or a decent percentage of my stake back to reinvest another day that's never a bad day. There is nothing worse than having a limit like we all do and blowing it early doors cis you can guarantee once its gone the winners start to flow...sods law.
So what I'm trying to say my mate is pick races you have at least 70% of winning on the form...back each way to protect your stake in short priced multiple bets and you won't go far wrong as long as your reading the race right..
Any questions dude..just ask and I'll reply defo.
Best of luck today...think I'll have a lil pop at a few

Scott another thing is...don't be enticed into the televised meetings...usually there ultra competitive and even the shortest of priced horses at these meeting can be turned over...so I usually try and stay away unless there's something exceptional about...my moto is if there's a 6/4 at Ludlow or a 6/4 at royal ascot there will usually be less dangers at the Ludlow venue. Don't be scared to search the whole days meeting at the so called lesser venues and you will find little nuggets there to put in your short priced 3 or 4 fold each way accas
You will find what works for you mate and the very best of luck for the future...superb bunch of fellas on here mate
