If that Roger Varian horse had have won I would have put 20.00 on that Ryan Moore horse.
I had no discipline at all this eve mate. I put the last bit on that Roger Varian horse.
I want to ask you about the place market betting, If I back a horse in the place market (say it's 3/1) and it finishes 1st, will I get the 3/1 or will I only get payed at the place price??
I hope those selections come in for you tomorrow.

junno dude you must av been reading my mind,bet365 dont do a place market.They do a cover bet instead.
the cover bet is slightly different e.g i did couloir extreme to win in a cover bet 3 places,That means instead of the 9/4 for the win they were giving me only 11/10 the win BUT if it finished 2nd or 3rd my stake would be returned.
I use it a lot when im staking big bucks mate,cos as we know anything can get beat on the day but if i fancy something i dont get greedy and at 11/10 with the safety net of 2nd and 3rd all my money back im happy and can attack again.

im not an expert on the place market but i think if you do a horse at 3/1 but back it to place you dont get the win,only the place and it would be maybe evens or less i reckon mate

the varian horse was a shade tight at 5/4 so its price took it out of the cover bet range,a cover bet would have only been the 1/4 maybe the win so they were forcing you to go for the win in a large field.He obviously had a great chance BUT so did moores at a price which allowed you to protect your stake.
im learning from experience to maybe go for these instead,i like the safer options with cover.If things dont go to plan hopefully your stake will be returned to stake some more
Take tommorrow for example Dawn approach is 11/8 IF you cover betted him 3 places i reckon you could get 1/2 if ya lucky.If you had a large stake would you be happy with a 50% return if he wins in 2 minutes? and if it places 2 or 3 your well earned cash is returned.
its something to think about in the future homey,

Good advice from you as always, Hopefully My ante post bets will do me a good turn tomorrow as I am down to win 338 off one and 90.00 off the other, However I can only have one winning lucky 15 because Shea Shea and Reckless Abandon are in the same race. Hopefully one will win and the other will place. When I put those bets on last night and I had 73.00 in My account and I had 33.00 left after My bets and this eve I was trying to get it back up to around 73.00 so as those bets would be free...Hahahahahahahaha what a total noop I was betting without discipline.
