I was lucky enough to have backed him at a big prce on his seasonal debut where he fought well to beat a rival tommorrow LETHAL FORCE by a head in the group 2 at York.
He was weighted at 9st 13ibs that day and tommorrow he's an incrediable 9st 6ibs for this group 1 event
That victory was on softish ground but i have a feelin he is better on a firmer surface like when he won the Bet Fred Sprint cup group 1 at Haydock back in September last year.
He finished 5th in this corresponding race last year, finally going down by 1.5 lengths to no other than BLACK CAVIAR and MOONLIGHT CLOUD Remarkebly giving those 2 exalted rivals 3ibs each.
He is a course and distance winner and with a more than satisfactory pipe opener he should be fully wound up for a crack at this prestigous event.
I would advise an 'each way' stake as there are still dangers all over the place as with every race at Ascot .
