BUNKER 2.30 Ascot 2ND 3/1 'each way'
My good buddy Mr ALPHA brought this horse to my attention a few days ago AND i agree fully with his pointer.
He won his race course debut beating NATHR by 2.5 lengths.To put that run into perspective that rival was 1.5 lengths ahead of Norfolk Stakes group 2 1 length 3rd WIND FIRE .
Bearing that in mind dont forget the 2yr old sprint record was broken that day by the American trained NO NAY NEVER SO the lateral form of BUNKER on paper at least looks really strong.
This is a listed race tommorrow and a strict line through NATHR and WIND FIRE The selection has a 4 length margin over a horse who finshed very close in a course record breaking group 2.
Obviously WIND FIRE might have improved dramatically since his 1st race course debut but so might have BUNKER.
Richard Hannons 2 year olds have always got to be feared but this one is priced to go at each way at 3/1 with 1/4 odds on the 4 places.
