DESERT RECLUSE 12/1 from 14'S
Made a satisfactory return to action in febuary over this course and distance, finally beaten 5 lengths by the 'All weather'specialist THECORNISHCOCKNEY.
BUT its not that peice of form that drew my attentions. Its his CD WIN against BUCKLAND.
That rival was going for his 5th straight victory until my selection beat him by a a short head.
Im positive he is better on an artificial surface, having only raced once on turf in 5 appearances.
That form took another boost when BUCKLAND finished 5 lengths 4th in a group 3 in his very next race to the queens horse ESTIMATE.That rival went onto win the GOLD CUP group 1.
His final start this season saw him him finish 13 lengths 8th to the Cecil trained TIGER CLIFF in a ultra competative class 2 h'cap at Newmarket.
So the return to a surface that obviously suits has got to be in his favour today
This is only a h'cap today and at 12/1 from 14's with a course and distance win under his belt and with 'form lines' arguably better than that of the 2/1 fav i firmly believe he worth a crack at EACH WAY .
I'd be disapointed if he couldnt at least run into a place.
The very best of luck if ya decide to follow
