A horse yesterday went off 6/4f in the previous night you could get 25/1 and early morning you could get 16/1, 14/1, 9/1. On the exchanges the horse could be laid between 7/2 - 9/2.
I know of 2 big bets that went down on this horse £7,500, £12,500. Then 10 mins before race was told that the horse had been layed for £25,000 @ 4/1. So the guy who i know had laid out £7,500 for horse to win @ 16s with bet he would have won over £120k. Instead he laid it to win £100,000 instead or £92,500 after you take out his £7,500 first bet.
Thats only one of his bets that I know off. Thats why you will never win at horse racing because doesnt matter what form you read or system you have. You will never beat the big money spinners or the people who are willing to cheat us honest punters out of money. Its not the bookies you have to worry about its the underworld of the owners and trainers who want to make money.

Yeah I made abit of profit on this horse as i backed it @ 25s, 16s 14s 9s ew and i managed to get £20 on the exchanges just before the off @ 7/2 but thats not the point I was lucky as I got told if I didnt I would have lost as the one punter i was stood next to when watching the race and seen me lay the horse off on my tablet after receiving the call about the lay.
I asked him how did he get the tip he said of a ex jockey and he had put £12,500 @ 2/1 down, as you can imagine he was abit peed off when i layed it and asked me how I knew that was going to happen.
