Morning lads,
Ive got my boys this morning and ive been doing a spot of studying before they got up and i might just have found a cracker.Its only a shorty but
i believe its got a great chance to win.
Catt 3.30 KING OF MACEDON 2ND 5/4 or 4/6(cover bet 2 places)
This Mark Johnson trained gelding owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum has only had 1 run in his short career so far but it was a winning 1.He made all over
6 furlongs on good ground at Ripon beating the Tim Easterby gelding 'THE HOODED CLAW' by 0.75 lengths.
That form has given a fantastic boost when the 2nd placed horse finished 2.75 lengths 5th in a listed race at ripon in his very next race.
With improvement almost gauranteed from my selection he's going to be extremely hard to beat providing he can handle the softer ground conditions
today.
If the lateral form reading of his debut race is correct he could prove to be a pattern horse in the making and if he's gonna take some beating.
Adrian Nichols takes the ride today and he's no stranger to the winning enclosure,with his experience im sure he will give this front runner a
cracking ride and get the fractions just right.
You know me by now and where i can i 'always'try and protect by stake and i'll be having a 'major go' at this 1 with a 'cover bet of 2 places' at 4/6
