Well done mate. Whoop whoop. After today I'm finished backing horses for a while. I went down to the bookies earlier and I made a few bets, I put 5.00 on one and then I split up another 10.00 in another race. Down 15.00 so far, and then I spot this horse running in the first at Sligo that had a massive gamble going on it, from 11/4-13/8 so I ran to the counter to put 10.00 on it. Then I went over to watch the race surrounded by a gang of lad which I had been talking too since I arrived, anyhow the race started and the fav came second and everyone one of the lads had the winner and never said a word about it to me and to make matters worse I lost 50.00 in my rush at the counter. That's like another day before when I was in the bookies a man and a child came in and backed a horse and waited for the race which was at Naas. The fav was an O Brien horse and everybody in the bookies had it backed. Anyway it got beaten by a head by a 9/2 shot. Everybody in the bookies was in bad form after it lost but guess what happened the man and the child turns out to be John Egan's (the jockey) father who was passing through town and found the nearest bookies to back the horse.. Well I'll tell you this that man is so lucky because their was a few old lads in there gonna smash him for not saying something about it, Instead he waited till the race was over. What an absolute dipstick. He should have kept his mouth shut and collected his money and left instead of saying who he was after the race. That's like mud in your eye.

if i was him dude i coudnt have kept my big mouth shut,I would have told everyone.Even if i was told not too, what was it to him if he told a few working class lads in a bookies.Everyone could have won a few quid and he could have walked out a hero and everyone takin about it in a good way instead of pissin everyone off.
wot a Proper helmet mate.
Im sorry that your avin a break dude cos i for 1 will miss ya,just wish i could win ya a few quid but its tough and easier said than done

Cheers mate, I'm just sick of loosing money all the time, I'm down allot of money since ive started back (about 550), I was never up enough to keep it up and increasing, My discipline has gone out the window and when I do make the right moves I end up not putting on enough to make a proper profit. All in all I don't bet enough to make a profit and when I do bet too much I usually loose, so either way I'm between a rock and a boulder.
Anyhow all the best to Yourself, Alpha and M'punter, I'll still sign in every day and wish ye all well with your bets.
Best of luck lads..

All the best mate, I won't be far behind you having a break -, I swear I'd have better results putting all the horses names in a hat and picking one out or throwing darts at the racing news. Am I going to buy myself a hat and some darts with me last few bob, naaaahhhhh - I'm going to spunk it away on some 3 legged pit pony that falls out of it's stall at the start of the race ................again ;D Good Luck and see you about
