Well lads this meeting has got to be the tougest this year but i really like the chances of
2.30 Ascot GARSWOOD 2.30 6/1 4TH
Danger is
2.30 GALE FORCE TEN 5/1 WON
If you can watch GARSWOODS last run in the guineas he's quit slowly away and is playing catch up from the get go.
He also a few blipps when tyng to make a run and eventually finshishes 7th.
However MARS was only 1/2 a length in front and TORONADO only 1.5 lengths infront of him. They both ran a cracker yesterday in the ST James Palace Stakes
Having previously been a 5 furlong horse Fahey might have been a bit worried about the trip in the guineas and rode him to get the trip.
Back over 7 furlongs for which he won a a listed race 1st time out this year by over 2 lengths the tactics might be a little more aggressive and im expecting him to be up with the pace.
Hopefully he will sit behind the leaders with a bit of cover and attack coming into the final furlong.
if he can build on that effort he must surely run a place. With a realistic chance of pushing any rival in the field for the victory.
At 6/1 im going each way and im confident he can at least achieve this
GALE FORCE TEN is my danger horse to the selection and is currently priced at 5/1.Obrien usually primes his horses for this type of meeting and has genuine group 1 credentials.
He ran MAGICIAN to within 3.5 lengths in the Irish 2000 guineas. That rival ran a shocker yesterday but is oviously very talentd.
The 3rd placed horse TRADING LEATHER franked the form of the guineas winning a listed race next time by 3.5 lengths.
Obviously theres more dangers but unless you want to back half the field at these ultra competative meetings im just gonna concentrate on these two.
The very best of luck lads
