SPIFER 7.55 KEMPTON 7/2 omg 2nd again 'stake returned' Im hoping this Marco Botti trained gelding does the business tommorrow in a tight 7 horse affair at Kempton.
Even though are a few dangers in this race.Spifer boasts the best form on an artificial surface and at this track.
His last three starts at this track he has finished 1st,2nd and 4th in high end class 2.3. and 4 h'caps.
His last run at this track was in March of this year where he finished 2.25 lengths behind 'Buckland' who notched up a 4 timmer and finished with a 4.5 length 4th in a group 3 event.
The 2nd placed horse in the Kempton race was no other than 'Universal'who has also franked the form massively by winning his last 3 races culminating in a group 3 and group 2 success.
Yes theres dangers in the race namely the unkown qauntity and race 13/8 favourite 'Bishop Roko'Who won his only start by 6 lengths but that was almost a year ago and would have to be group level on first time of asking.
The Godolphin team has there team in fine fettle and 'Expert Fighter'has got to be respected having won a class 3 h'cap last year and is a nice price at 8/1.
Im hoping race fitness and course form could be the difference in this race.
Inconjuction with the extremely strong form lines im going to go 'each way' 1st 2 places at 7/2 on my selection and be quitly confident if a win doesnt materialise the stake will be returned almost in its entirety on my ew stake.
