GOOD EVANS 6/1 4.40 NOTTINGHAM 4th 
This has got to be 1 of the best 'each way'bets of the day and its been heavily backed all day from 16/1 right down to 6's
I cant really understand why its the price it is because its probably got the best recent form than anyone else in the field.He is carrying a lot more weight than before but this is far less competative than his previous 2 runs.
His penultimate start was over 1 mile 4 furlongs in a class 3 h'cap at Chester, finishing a very respectable 2 lengths 2nd to 'Dalis lover'
His latest start was again at Chester over the same distance this time in a class 2 h'cap whereupon he finished just over 1/2 3rd to 'Red Runaway'who has already won 3 races in his short career and 'Van Percy' who won a class 2 h'cap next time out.
His last start showed a licking for a bit of give in under foot conditions and thats exactly what he has today.
His stamina for an extra 2 furlongs has got to be taken on trust but the change in distance is not excessive.Furthermore he's ran 2 furlongs further than almost half the field and in better company so i dont envisage it being an issue in this race.
Richard Kingscote takes the ride today and is an accomplished jockey who should be able to have him in the right spot to attack up the final furlong.
