i think this has an excellent chance mate and at 6/4 id say get on at evens now 7 starts at this distance 5 wins and 1 place 1 win from 1 start in this class 4 wins and 2 places with this jockey likes good to firm so if the ground is good, good to firm has to have a great chance

yo Pappa
i think DANADANA could be the best horse in the race, but he is running against the Derby 2nd albeit a very poor derby due to the results/form subsequently. The problem i have is the last twice Danadanna has run on 'soft' ground he's been stuffed in h'cap company.Alternatively 'MAIN SEQUENCE' has excelled in these conditions coming a close 4th in a group 1 at Lonchamp. the big question is has danadana improved and has main sequence trained on.Judging from his last run maybe not,but this is his ground today so he might improve. Its all about can Danadana go in the ground, only time will tell but historically the form says NO but its all about opinion so dont let me put you off dude

Cheers for your input mate, the only reason I like it is because its Luca Cumani's only runner today.

i like him too mate, this english weather is a joke.if things were not hard enough the weather adds another factor.just wish you could trust the trainers to not run there horses if they cant go in the ground.unfortunatley there running them with the thoughts,if they loose we will get a lower h'cap mark to use when its our going.there using these races to get a bit of fitness into there horses not giving a hoot to the punter. thats why i like the all weather, you know where you stand 9 times out 10,with the going changing on a daily basis on turf the punter doesnt know what to do...it so frustrating

Yes mate it certainly is. You just know that's it's a bad sign when see that theirs 5 or 6 non runners taken out of just one race and nearly the same on the rest of the card. I try and avoid those meetings. I never really had much luck with the all weather myself but when the flat season starts back up again next March, I'll be writing down everything including non runners. I'll have a folder for every race course and everything will be noted. Back in the late 90's I was keeping similar notes and it proved to be very successful. I stopped after because I had no time to keep notes any longer because of work and I gave up backing. 3 months ago my dad died and ever since then I've been back at them. Allot has changed since, most of my favorite trainers have retired and the ones that are left are not the same anymore. Take Mick Channon for instance, not the same as he used to be. Nowadays it's the sons that are taking over from the dads. David Pipe ain't no Martin Pipe and Allen Berry ain't no Jack Berry. Since I've been back the internet has helped me allot but I would benefit more by writing everything down and taking my own notes.
