Ok guys going to bring my 80/20 bet to this site now. On GG.com i'm showing over a £20 profit on this bet on this month. Not going to make you rich but will make you steady profit each day.
For people who don't know what this bet is you are staking 80 percent of your stake on a horse being placed and 20 percent on the win. My bets are normally £2 place and 50p win or £4 place £1 win.
All bets settled on tote returns as thats how i bet this.
WIll start here afresh so first bet:-
Monday 22 July
Ainm Spartacus 6.10 Ballinrobe
Tho this horse lost by 7L to the fav sabaidee this return march my selection is a staggering 25lb better off including the apprentice allowance. I can definately see this horse being in the first 4 in this race so looks a outstanding e/w bet.
£4 place £1 win

Like the sound of that mate, my aim is to try and make 10 quid a day any more is a bonus (lots of bonus's lately myself but I fear they are going to dry up soon).
I will be following this thread and playing your selections each time you post.

yes you can on betfair, and betfred now have the tote pools on there website thats how i bet it. Just do 2 separate bets on there pool 1 to win and 1 to place.

yes hoping for easier day then saturday, had a punter in work doing big bets e.g £4k e/w on a 5/2 shot. By the time he finished id taken over 50k in bets and returned 38k.

bit of cash and debit card, was 2 of us just counting constantly. We only had 3 punters in the shop thank god the footie season has started would have been in trouble otherwise.

I dont mind doin 11/4's ew mate but 5/2's a bit skinny innit,he would have been better doing cover bets 2 or 3 places at 5/4 or 6/5 on line.
If it didnt win but placed he would have got his dosh back.

When i left had to go to other shop he was about 13k down but had 2k ew on a horse which had won by the time i got to other shop which won him about 10k. i did ask if he went by the name kerching
