A little insight into how i pick my daily selections
8.10 Leics AMBITIOUS BOY 10/1 'each way'
This Hollinshead trained gelding by Striking Ambition ran an absolute cracker on his seasonal reapearance at Warwick over 6 furlongs.
After being help up he stayed on to finish 3.25 lengths behind the already race fit MINELISSA.
The form of that race has been boosted by the winner as he has gone onto win a class 3 h'cap by 3.25 lengths and then more impressively finishing a head 2nd in a listed even at Naas Ireland.
The 2nd placed horse in my selections seasonal pipe opener was the Moore trained gelding PICTURE DEALER and he has also franked the form by winning 2 consecutive class 4 h'caps at Newmarket and York.
The 'softening' ground conditions should hold no fears either as my selection has already won a class 5 h'cap at Chester on 'good to soft'ground.
On this occasion he beat the Paul Green trained colt FERDY by a head, that rival again franking the form by winning a class 4 h'cap this season.
My selection should have dusted away any pre season cobwebs and will be much sharper today. That inconjunction with the pairing of Shane Kelly whom i think is a more than competant rider im hoping for a bold show today.
Ive just checked the 'stalls bias' at Leicester and on first reading it appears low numbers may have a slight advantage, which is good news because the selection is drawn 1 of 10.
Currently priced at 10/1 with Bet365 i think it has a live chance especially in an 'each way'capacity
WAHEY...How boring am i hope this goes someway to show you my thought proces when im choosing my selections and win, loose or draw at least you know its not just a lucky pin in the local paper job.
I'd like to write up all my fancies in this way but unfortuneatly it would take too long and the mrs might kill me
RIGHT WHERES MY LUCKY PIN...I MIGHT JUST NEED IT TODAY ;D
