Big race big prize money and plenty of horses to choose from....so.....a few facts to go on ....10 of the last 13 winners have been drawn in stall 16 or higher, The last 14 winners have been placed in their 2 previous races, the last 3 winners have been 3 and 4 year olds, Johnston has won this race 3 times in the last 4 years and Johnston is fielding 3 horses in this years race !! So with this I have a few I like
Galican 16/1 ew
Haafaguiena 14/1 ew
Es que love 20/1 ew because murtagh seems to do the biz in these big races !!

I've been thinking it might be interesting to ew perm some of these races - you'd get the possibility of more lines paying out on an accy - especially when there's four places up for grabs. Lot of work going through it all unless you did it by consensus and took the best tipped value ggs and put them in a 3x3x3 perm - it might be more miss than hit though to get a full house even on the places.
thoughts anyone?

I like haafaguiena his win was more cosier last time then it looked and i feel at 16/1 in places is a cracking ew bet and i will be all over it later. I'm saving my money to bet on Mirage hoping it will do the business today.

Strange race that one !! Galician got placed which was good wud of preferred the win but hey ....I dismissed Wentworth because of his last ride what a mistake that was
