To make matters had no money in betfair so I couldn't put a lay in -running he hit a mark of evens in running . So I put two combo bets covering the first 6 in the betting for 265 stakes what happens 7 in the betting wins gutted! Saturdays are incredibly hard to win on mate,,even though i had a nice touch yesterday evening the afternoons session was not great especially at goodwood were i get a bitch slappin...BIG TIME.
I usually leave Saturdays alone unless theres a lesser meeting or two.Goodwood,Newmarket,Ascot,Chester ect are far too competative to be confident about a race 'even'with multiple selections in each race

The trouble with Saturdays is that there is often much more racing to sieve through. It can get complicated if you let it so I always stick to my one a day and only one if it jumps out at me. Seeking can take hours, but sometimes the obvious is obvious for a reason. If I can find one then I try and I'm hoping you'll see in time that my strike rate and profits are decent enough. On any day, if one doesn't stand out then I wait for the next day regardless of which day of the week it is. When it gets complicated the fun goes out of it. When it's no longer enjoyable, it's time to give it up.

Hitman
Your right mate, its very tedious looking at every horse running in the same grade.Impossible to differentiate 1 form line from another.
I do like trawling through the form though looking for a nuggett though...there just few and far between at the high profile meetings.
How can you find a nuggett in a gold factory...thats why i go to the lesser meetings to find a lil gem who's maybe run against 1 of the better horses....FAR FAR easier that way
