I DONT THINK SO and heres why
Right lads before you think ive gone ROUND THE TWIST the ground conditions could well be 'AGIANST' the 11/1o fav ARTFUL PRINCE
YES he's won his last 2 races BUT he's finished 13th and 9th in class 5 and 6 rated h'caps when the ground has been soft(which it is today)
To lay it to get beaten is 4/6 This looks an incredible bet considering its historical performances on this surface.
IF you dont fancy it to win there are alternatives at attractive prices namely:-
ZHUBA 13/2 -2.75 lengths 2nd to NULLARBOR SKY looks decent in this grade considering he won really well last time, however also doesnt have any soft ground form
WARLORD 4/1- He Has raced on soft ground but the trip is an unknown qauntity. When he did in 2012 even though well beaten there was some listed horses in the fields so he could make his presence felt in this grade especially with the O'meara team in fine form. His last 3 races on firm ground. Finshed close to ROCKET RONNIE who has won a couple already this year
LUCKY BLACK STAR 25/1-Worth a 2nd look at a massive price in a ew capacity 8 lengths behind DAME NELLIE MELBA with PROGENITOR anoth 6 lengths ahead, Has also got soft ground form in 2012 when finishing 4 lengths and less to ALMALEKIAH(7TH in a listed race this year)JUBILANTE(2nd and 5th in class 2 h'caps this year)and CLEMENT(WON 3 from 5 this term)
Im gonna change my perm on my post and delete the favourite cos on historical form IT CANT RUN ON SOFT GROUND...or can it thats the gamble
