Got a bit of a wait today fellas, as it doesn't go until the 5.50 at Goodwood.
Hoping there won't be too many non-runners by then so the 20-1 and 3 places for the each-way remains intact.
Rock Of God at 20-1 to finally come good for Eve and Johnny boy.
Now for the reasoning - like any is really needed after yesterday's killer! Anyway, 4 runs this year and each one will explained as below:
1st run of the season was badly needed and over far too short of an ideal trip.
2nd and 3rd runs was playing about on the all weather surfaces which he wasn't overly in love with, but it did show his liking for a step up in trip and get his weight down quite considerably in a short space of time.
4th run was his first handicap on grass and he looked the winner two furlongs out on rain-softened ground.
Today's drop in trip back to a mile and a half and with rain around, he's far far too big at 20-1.
Hopefully we'll follow up the 33-1 Winner yesterday with another 20-1 beauty today!
