MUTAZAMEN 12/1 7.55 Sandown WOW ITS NOW 20'S
This Richard Hannon colt is currently priced at 12/1 and if you can forget his pipe opener of the season he would be far shorter than this today.
Even though hes ran on a softer surface ive got a suspiscion he has a liking for a firmer underfoot conditions.
He has firm going today and on this surface he ran the Gosden 'Ashden' to within 2.5 lengths on his race course debut albeit that rival easing down towards the finish.
Ashden went onto run in the group 1 Dewhurst stakes finally finishing 4th to Dawn Approach.
His 2nd start of last years campaign saw him beat 'Homage' by 1.5 lengths.
That rival is the 7/4 favourite in this race today and thats why im pointing out this selction as maybe a bit of 'each way' value in a tight contest .
This colt has only finished out of the top 2 once in his career and he might just have needed the first run of the season to blow away any cobwebs.
Hannon and Hughes is a lethal l combination and there not adverse to throwing in big priced winners from time to time.
Im hoping the bookies have got it wrong today and its not a case of the colt not training on over the winter but im prepoared to take a risk on him especially at this massive price
Only time will tell lads but ive done him each way and i hoping for a big run.
best of luck lads
